8" mono VS 3x7 DD

Ok was wondering how much better/deeper/sensative the 8" mono is over the 3x7DD.The small DD does not hit targets much smaller than the stock coil.I have real easy ground to work in so The DD is really not needed.I just like the shape for bedrock sniping but other than that it sucks.

I dont want to spend anymore money on anotehr coil. But if hte 8" is so much better than teh 3x7 I think I will have too.

Yes it is an odd thing regards to the infinium coils in that they all appear to be limited to the same minimum size nugget that they can detect.
The smaller coils are used to get to dificult places and around rocks and will get a little closer to the bed rock cracks etc.

The 8 inch mono seems to be the coil for the best response to small nuggets.

I supose there is a couple of ways of looking at it.
1. The small coils have the same sensitivity as the large coils, Or,
2. The large coils are great because they can find as small a nugget as the small coils. :clapping:
