8 inch Excelerator finds Large Cent

[attachment 16462 1818lc.jpg]Hi folks, sorry I haven't posted in awhile but have been hitting this site now and then. Today I tried out my new 8 inch excelerator coil on the MXT and was very impressed on the depth that this coil achieves. I went back to a cellar hole that I hit about 5 times last summer and was amazed on how the coil was finding targets like I never hit this place before. The ground was still very frozen so I was only able to dig a few holes. I dug up this 1818 large cent, a few musket balls and two skeleton keys in the same area I scanned last summer. The LC was found at about 9 inches with a great strong signal. I can't wait to hit all my old areas with this new coil.

is the coil I like best for general hunting with an MXT. The 4

I like it for the harminics in the Relic Modee and its stability. Smooth sounding targets have always been good, crackly ragged sounds have always been junk no matter where the numbers fall in on the ID.
Like Monte says this one has a good feel to it, as for depth I got some penny's that Id'd as pennies in 81 sand that were fairley deep. I didn't take time to measure the depth but there was a good size hole in the sand once the scoop got to them.

And the 8" excelerator got better depth than what coil-coils?
I used mine today in a park with a bunch a junk. Got a 20-18 vid with solid sound in betwix a bunch of square tabs. They were inches apart. A few inches down out pops a 63 nickle. Nothing to brag about but for and eight inch coil seperating targets that well it put a smile on my face.

All ya gotta do is call me.
