8 inch coil

Hello All,
I love this 8 in sunray coil. It performs great. Was wondering what kind of depth you would get on silver dimes. I found two rosies this weekend and they were about 7 inches deep. Is that about the limit, or will it go deeper.
Thanks Bill(WI)

Hi Bill, it will get deeper than that in the right conditions.. Ive got a few coins in the 11 inch range with mine.. in iron or very high mineralization 6 or 7 inches seems to be close to the cutoff, but thats great depth for those conditions in my opinion.. Ive had machines that missed them at even less depth in those same areas..

i am wondering if the 8 inch coil is better then my 10,5 and why it would be any advice
