than 8" C$ coil in air tests. Tested a silver dime, quarter and IH penny. Not much deeper, about 1/2" but the signal is more consistant and with more high tones. I saw no depth improvement when comparing the 5" and 10 coils, only the 8". The C$ coils don't work on the Edge, no audio, no meter readings, the meter stays at 00.
