Been in a bad slump last 8 days..... Landed a 1912 house today and had high hopes for some redemption? 3.5hrs on the front yard and pretty much zippo.... Still hope sides and back might turn up something but ain't lookin good at this point. Might have to head back to the Big City if things don't change.....

rant over.....

PS...if anyone knows anything about the USA badge thingy...let me know if you would?....Thanks!
PSS....ruined the one injun trying to clean it....lol

The USA badge looks like it is WWI vintage by the uniforms. Possibly a watch fob. Anything on the back?

Still a good hunt though:clapping:

3 keeper coins after 8 hunts good? I'm not too happy about it at all especially with freeze up right around the corner.

Don't mind me...frustrated is all after lots of hard work and nothing.

Like mentioned above, I also believe the USA thingy is WW1 era, possibly a fob? No writing on the back, fine print on bottom says E Pluribus Unum.......

Any thing stamped on the top of that key? Sure looks like a railroad switch lock key to me. Some of those can be big$$ to collectors.

Can't remember (?) and the key and the military thingy went back to the property owner anyways....

Finished up the 1912 place...not one wheatie after 4.5hrs total time. Bailed on the place today as the dog poop in side yard was too much for me...lol. 9 hunts now...2 wheats, 1 indian total......pathetic. Finished the day out with a re-hunt and dug a few nickels and clad....

Got one more private to do that I haven't seen yet and it didn't sound too promising over the phone...we'll see?

Due for something decent and need it bad....... Might have to head to the big city and find some coins this weekend???

I still enjoyed seeing your finds. Thanks for going out 8 times just for my...err...our enjoyment. Congratulations on the finds as well. Thanks for the great pictures.

Mr. Trac....that be 9 hunts now after todays skunk...

LMAO.....!!!!! Oh I've really been a whiney butt these last couple hunts so thanks guys for letting me vent a little!

Gonna go hit the "mystery" private tomorrow and maybe something will turn up? Can't really whine too much tho as my LC last week made my year...(still can't believe it). If no luck tomorrow might try an over nighter in Barberville.....had pretty good luck over there..........

Ntrac.....you and EtracOhio must be too busy to get out? Haven't seen either of you guys posting finds...???? You get your shack up...???

We all have slumps but we still gotta keep on trying! Always enjoy seeing your finds. HH
