8" EXcelerator Concentric Search Coil?

Was curious as to whether anyone has tried this coil... I have the smaller 6" EQ2 excelerator and absolutely love it. Wouldn't mind a slightly larger coil to cover more area, and while everyone talks about the 8X6 butterfly I don't hear much about this coil.

Was curious as to stability and depth.

I have this coil I like it but the depth is not as great as the pro coil but it is a good dd coil

It's a concentric coil as he said. It's also available for the BBS machines but I've seen very little user feedback on it. I remember one guy saying it pinpointed real easy and that it actually like it for beach hunting I think, but beyond that there is very little out there about it. I used to be a big fan of concentrics, mainly because I owned a few machines with really bad DD coils on them (very fuzzy fields and lousy pin pointing and separation as a result). That was until I used a quality DD coil and saw the depth, stability, and how well it separates. Now I only want to use a DD coil. Then I stepped up to the 12x10 and it's the pinacle of a DD coil IMO in terms of depth, separation, and stability.

Have you tried the Sun Ray X-8? OUTSTANDING middle coil. Best separation!
