8" EXcelerator Concentric...anyone used one on the Etrac?

I'm looking for input if anyone has used one of these coils on the etrac, what they thought of it? I've got a Sun Ray 6" DD coil, and the 12" Sun Ray Stealth, I'm thinking I want a 8" coil for just general hunting spots, not to trashy, and not real large areas. Thanks if anyone has anything to say about this coil. Ken-ks.

I took the plunge and bought the 8" concentric coil for the etracl, I'll let ya'll know what I think of it. I have the old fairgrounds here in town that I and everyone and their brother have hunted, it'll be a good place to see what it does. Need some rain first, today was our 30th day in a row of 100 plus degree heat and no rain. Guess you don't have to worry about killing the grass from digging a plug, it's already a nice shade of light brown. Later. Ken-ks.

Never used an 8" but I run the 6" Excelerator Coil almost 95% + of the time - good depth, separation, no hangups on brush stubble, fantastic for getting in tight spots - love it !

Hey Ken how did the 8" concentric work out for you? I am looking for info on the that coil.

I really like the sunray 8" dd coil myself great depth and seperation swings like a breeze too cause it's small and light makes the machine feel like most other detectors do when swinging. Since you already have their 5" and 12" whynot give the 8" a go?
