Anyone know if it's out yet? Interested in buying one. Detech 8". Thanks

Do you know where we can buy them? How you know they are in? How much?

Just contact JW at Kellyco and he will give you more info.

from Detech is awesome! This coil differs from most of the Double-D (widescan) coils they make for my MXT in that it is solid, not open.
My 10", 12

Hey Monte,
For what it's worth, the coil decal says it is made for the MTX.

Your post made me reread my post to see if I mis-stated something!
That's my photo of my MXT and my 8" DD coil. It's a really good coil for general application hunting. As we know, the MXT doesn't 'average' and produces new information with each sweep of the target. In typical sites where there are often near-by targets, I have found this 8" DD to be very friendly in that you need less side-sweep to re-sweep the target and get inforamtion. The 950 often needs to eb moved well off of the target. Not handy in moderate trash or worse.

I didn't catch it the first time I saw your pic either Monte. But on the right side of the coil the letters read "MTX" not "MXT"

I can't tell you how many times I have looked at the coil ... generally ... while scanning and just never noticed it!
I never needed to read the coil because I knew what it was (DD) and what it was for. I was simply concentrating on performance rather than reading the decl.
I posted this photo before on this and/or another Forum and nobody ever caught it either.
Thanks,
