8" coils

Me and another beach hunter have been discussing chains, their movement in the water, density and weight, size of coil and winter vs summer tides and deposit locations. Hes been very happy using the 8 on the Xcal finding chains. His conditions are different than mine being on the East coast of Fl and im in the Gulf. So now that i have the Sov rather than swap out a coil on one of my Xcals im looking at 8" coils. Can we agree on one of the best 8" coils for the Sov and why? I wished Kelleyco has a 8" SEF.... i think that would be a killer coil. BUT then concentric does have a focused foot print and might just get a bit more depth and percission. To add to that..... anyone ever put a concentric on an Xcal and tried that?
