8/12 After Supper at VA Beach/ With Discovery 3300

Well, it was that kind of night. Weather was perfect, so I grabbed the Discovery 3300 and headed for VA Beach. Hunted from 24th to 26th Street. Started off real slow, but eventually my ship came in. Not as many targets as last week, but still a pleasant way to spend an evening. Still looking for that gold ring that keeps avoiding my scoop. Sure not having any problems with nickels and tab tops though. Maybe next time.

You got some nice finds. I was just wandering if you do allot of detecting at night. I was really thinking of doing some myself, but I'm a little worried about some nut case possibly messing with me. Hate to hurt someone that got stupid. With this hot weather during the daytime, at night might be perfect.
