8", 10" coil on Excal ll, the positives.

Hello,
This has probably been covered before but allow me to ask the question this way.
1 What are the positive attributes and uses of the 8" coil?
2 And what are the positive attributes and uses of the 10" coil?
3 Which do you use or would you use most frequently if you are fortunate enough to have them both?

(These questions are in regards to the Excal II detector.)

Best Regards,
Steve

I have found more rings with the 8 inch and it is much easier to swing in the ruff water plus , I am more likely to recover the target.Better PP. Like in the Video of max, the 10 would be hard to swing in that water. I've used the 10in on the Gulf side of fL..no problem, water much calmer. 10 in in almetal goes about 3 to 4 inch deeper...on the Beach's I detect. And that is the Excal, Not the Excal II, a few test so far between the two, the Excal II goes alittle deeper in almetal. Doing a short Video on that, should be done in the fall. Good Luck...Obn

I two will cast my vote for the 8" coil. easier to pinpoint more sensitive on small gold easier to swing in the water. I had both sold the excal with the 10" still have the 8" coil works great.
