7x10" Elliptical PROformance searchcoil

I see that the GTAx 550 has this coil as standard equipment and the GTAx 550 uses the Crossfire II coils as options. My question is:
Will the 7x10" Elliptical PROformance searchcoil work on a GTAx 1250 that uses the Crossfire II coils?
Maybe my thinking is wrong but the Power DD coil seems it would be better suited to relic hunting than coin shooting but the 7x10" elliptical would be more for coinshooting (and even relic hunting) while covering a larger area.
I hope the 7x10 works with the GTAx 1250 and can be had at a reasonable cost. ($179 is a bit much for my walet for the Power DD coil). Hoping the 7x10 is less expensive.
Anyone have any thoughts on this.

I've got one on my 1250 and it's a sweet coil. Much more stable than the Crossfire II. Still gives good balance and the target seperation is good too. It will allow you to run your sensitivity higher without falsing, if you want to. And they are Rhino-tough for sure. I have managed to knock a small chunk out of mine on a rock, but it didn't even bother it. Still works fine. Worth the bucks, for sure, IMHO

deal on the 10x14 DD on ebay sometimes. Kellyco is about $144.00. I got mine from Garrett. It was barely used and was under a $100.00 with the coil cover.
