My brother and I went to an old baseball field used by a local College team in Grand Rapids. He found 3 silver dimes earlier this week. He works during the day so he likes to do the dark detecting. I am starting to like it. I work third shift as a nurse so I am used to being up at night. Well I got my first dime trifecta and much more. 7 silvers this hunt....I would have stayed longer but I got my wisdom teeth pulled the next day. I am up to 47 silvers this year and I really am getting to know my Explorer SE Pro and the deep silver tones. The barber dime was pretty deep but the rest of them were 4-5 inches. In one of my earlier posts I thought I was done for the season but that snow that fell b4 thanksgiving is long gone and we have been having pretty mild temps. I am going back to this ball park tonight again and there is also a park next to it. Hopefully turns out to be a good honey hole. HH OH I forgot the token isnt silver but a Sunoco gas station token, doesnt seem teribly old though.

Nice job of sniffing out the Treasure trove. Hunting at night keeps a low profile. Wouldn't go alone tho.

Way to go on the nice silver haul! I thought I was the only one who hunted in the dark :detecting:

Keep us posted on future hunts - keeps the motivation alive!!

Sweet! There are times I've enjoyed "night stalking" hunts and it has payed off.
Congrats on the silver!

Night time is my favorite, except creepy areas once you get that feeling someones watching all over for me lol
