750 or 250

I am contemplating between the 750 and the 250 detectors...I can get a used 750 for around 300 or a brand new 250. My question is does the 750 have enough advantages to warrant the extra $100 and be used. I plan on using it mainly for coin shooting and some relic hunting..Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Is this your first detector? I don`t have either one but i think the 250 would be my choice. I have been keeping up with what newer users and the veteran detectorists are posting and the 250 is very hot and acts like a more exspensive machine. If it were between the 1250 and 250 ,i would get the 1250 because of all the features it offers. Hope my input helps.

Is this your first detector? If so I would go with the 250. Aside from extra features I don't think you'll gain all that much with the 750.
