70Pro and 3D "Salt" Difference?

Hi Folks, does anyone know - what is the difference, if any, between the 3D and 70Pro in the salt mode? I have a 70Pro and love it. Of course the way the 2 machines 'report' their targets to the user are different, the screen and all, but - is there any difference in the electronincs that would affect what each would find. And again, I'm only thinking of what's going on in "Salt Mode"?
Thanks,
Flyguy

Same mode..one digital and one analog same facet sizes so you would get the same targets in either mode....Of course both regular modes are different in facets sizes and tones with the 3D enhanced for older areas..

Thanks, Dan. One of my hunting buddies got a gooood hual in clad with his small loop and 3D in 'salt mode' looking along fences, around buildings etc. at a sports park (a park I've hunted 5-6 times very successfully with my 70Pro and 10.5)and I was wondering if I was missing something for that kind of hunting having a 70Pro. Thankfully, not. Nope,I was missing these coins because I was using too big a loop - my goof. I ordered a "5 incher" the day he told about his super finds - 99 coins in one day, including 15 nickles!

I know one fellow that has all 3 coils and surprising when he hits for instance an old yard with all three he gets coins..As far as salt mode some guys experiment with it and even check back and forth on some targets. Myself only time I used salt was on a saltwater beach and once I got out of the wet sand went back to regular...More than one way to skin a cat one would guess...
