705 acting weird

I was out detecting today at two different parks with my 3 week old 705. Three hours at one park and it was working fine. Went to another and I couldn't get it to settle down. I set it up and started detecting and it started jumping from coin mode to plus mode and then to prospecting mode. I could just watch it jump from one mode to another. I just wondered if anyone had this happen to them.

I think you have a problem. I remember hearing someone else having the same prob but do not recall the solution. Call ML and talk to Nadia in service. 1-888-949-6522

I had a similar problem with mine, the buttons started to do other functions, example push pinpoint and it would change the program I was hunting in. Write everything down and call Minelab customer service Explain what is going on they were very helpful. Did you try a factory reset on your unit ?
