705 6 prong colored wire problem

Gregg harris

New member
I have a 705 that has 6 colored wires that connect to a numbered 6 pin connector that runs thru the unit, I can't find what color wire goes to what numbered pin and all for them are pulled off the connector. Any help would be great. Thanks

Try calling Minelab's nearest repair center, and ask to talk to a tech.

Greg, always solder number 6 or middle pin first.Use a .015 Diameter Silver bearing solder, easier to work with and holds well. HH Ron
