The 12x10 DD is supposed to see 70% less ground mineralization than a concentric. Anyone have experience in very bad ground to verify that?
 
Any DD will cut through mineralization like a hot knife through butter due to its winding configuration that produces a wedge shaped search pattern only a couple of inches wide.

actually it is the coil windings overlapping, one side is negative and the other positive and cancells alot of ground signal, is also why people generally say a DD doesn't sound off as sharp, because it dulls the main signal also
