70 goes for the bling!

Took the 70 for a walk on a heavy black sand Oregon beach today. She did good! A 14c ring. The black sand is really bad here from all the volcanic ash we have. I have had many detectors on this beach and they cannot "G"balance to it, but the 70 walks right through it.

Congrats. That's looks like a nice piece of Hawaiian Heirloom jewelry. The flower is a plumeria and I can't tell for sure, but I think that's a sea turtle (called a honu) on it, too.

Great looking hunk of gold jewelry! When you have Auto-GBed at 11, you can bet that is some serious mineralization. Dropping the sensitivity is probably a good thing for those conditions. I'm curious about the TID number. When you say 27-28, did the signal lock on at 28 or bounce between 26 and 28? HH Randy
