7" X 3" elliptical concentric coil on Vaquero

Just picked one of these up and going to try it on the Vaquero tomorrow. It's a heavy little bugger for it's size. Airtested pretty good, and it should do well in trash, it's really tiny! Anyone else used one on the Lobo ST, Vaquero, Cibola, Tejon ?

I used a 3X7 on a Lobo ST, in fact I used it most of the time while I had the LST. It worked well where there was a lot of trash in the ground and it was a killer on small gold jewelry, like earstuds and tiny chains. Also on tiny foil bits, bb's and similar size tiny nonferrous thingies:). If the LST had an iron ID feature in all metal mode, like the Goldtrax Treasure Baron has, I would still be using it and the 3X7 coil for jewelry hunting.

Hi JB, thanks for the info. I can't remember owning a smaller elliptial coil, sure looks like it will do good in trash. My older son will be using it tomorrow as I will be using my new (used) Sovereign and my Compass R&C, but I'll probably spend some time with the Vaquero. See you at the Compass forum!
