Hello,
Went back to one of the same old parks I usually hunt. Decided to try a different area only because the ground there was not rock hard as the rest of the
park. In just a small area there I found seven wheaties, my first Indian head penny, and a 1944d Mercury dime. Weird that I didn't find any clad coins.
The oldest wheatie is 1926. It's very hard to tell the date on the indian. All I can make out is the first two numbers of the date. 18??. In the pic you won't even be able to tell it's an Indian, but it is. It's next to the merc. dime. It was all green but looks black now because I put it in some stuff that is suposed to clean it. The rest of the pennies are not the actual wheaties I found. I put the actual ones in with the rest of my wheaties before I decided to take a group pic. The Mercury dime is by far the best one I have found worn wise. I would say it's almost EF-40. Needless to say, I'm going back there tomm.
BTW I brought my Kodak Zi8 camera and started to make a video I could post here but forgot the memory card. It's internal memory only makes a 10 sec vid. Oh well.
Any way, thanks for reading, and I hope you like the pics. HH all.
Dan.
