Finds are from some hunts since my last post. All finds were made at public sites.
I seemed to be running into the rings this weekend. 3 have sterling stamps and one is gold plated.
The Kids toy ring is a 1940s - 50s Junior Fire Marshall ring made by Hartford Insurance. I found one
a couple years ago but this one is in better shape.
A neat relic I pulled which was very deep was the Winchester (gun company) tool stamp.
These were made directly after World War I when Winchester got into tool making to keep their production up to account for the drop in firearm production.
Another relic find I made yesterday was that Advertising Bullet. I am thinking it is advertising an old bullet train in the transporting of grain. I haven't found any info on it yet.
Minneapolis/St Paul is listed on it also.
It is a shame the merchant token is so corroded. It is from a very small town that has only 1 other metal token and this one isn't listed.
The nicer buffalo is a 1920s which has some good value.
