7 months with Nokta Impact......very pleased

I bought my Nokta Impact 7 months ago. I was using a Makro Racer 2 before that. Impressed with both machines. The Racer 2 at a hunted for 15 years CS Camp dug a sweet CS "R" Rifleman Button. This button made Top 40 finds in W/E magazine and the front cover. I thought the camp was dead until I took the Racer 2 in there. Fast forward to buying Impact. First site was a camp near Vicksburg that had been pounded since the 60's by everybody and their brother. I was hoping for a few finds in the thickest iron but got blown away.......23 buttons. Next site was in LA, another heavily pounded site for many years. Again I went to the thickest iron....machine gun popping. Blown away a second time by Impact. 18 buttons, numerous bullets and a very rare New York Sutler token. Less than 5 known. The token made it in Just Dug section of American Digger Magazine. In conclusion, I like the Impact better than the Racer 2. I think the Impact sees thru iron a little better and I like the sweet sounds. Very very pleased with Impact!

Look forward to trying the Multi Kruzer and Gold Kruzer.

Very nice. It seems like the Impact is a relic lovers dream machine. Were you using it mainly at its mid frequency ?

The impact is like having a racer and some of their other detectors in their line all in one new machine..Try Gen mood top middle program and put disc at about 22 that is a tone break not disc...I love that program

nice finds. I agree about the Impact. Its a great Machine. So many modes and so many adjustments. Like having many detectors in one.

Your Impact is proving to be a great detector. My buddy Charlie picked one up in the Spring and I took the plunge in late October. I know it will be a great detector in iron-infested sites and providing another great machine to complement my CTX 3030.
