Met up with Greg and two other club members tonight for about 4 hours. My first good target was a nickel signal. Out pops a 1905 "V" nickel! SWEET! Then not too long after that came a 1946 silver Rosie! Then I wandered to another area and got a shallow dime signal, and at no more than 1 inch, out pops a 1910D Barber dime! I'm starting to think, Man this is a great hunt! A little bit later I get a 1919 wheatie I keep plugging away and I get a faint tone near a big old oak tree. I cut a plug, and the tone was a little stronger. I dug, and dug till I seen a little coin in the bottom of the hole at 10" A 1902 indian! Should I quit while I'm ahead? NOT! I start to wander back the other way, and not far from where I got the shallow barber, I get another hight tone! Imagine my surprize to see another Barber dime sitting on my pile of dirt! This time is is an 1898! Well it is starting to get dark so I stop to watch a new Explorer dig a target. It was taking him too long so I said I'm going to dig one more deep coin! About 20 feet later I get that indian sound! Last coin of the day! An 1887 indian! Man what a day ! 2 indians, 2 Barber dimes, 1 silver Rosie, 1 "V" nickel, and 1 wheatie!
