Used the Ace 251 for a couple hours until my batteries were charged on the ATPRO this morning. It was non stop digging from daylight this morning until I just quit.In my pictures I think theres a latch to an old Ice box. Looks like2 very old thermostats for some kind of motors, has 3 patent dates, last patent was "1935." one 1945 D Merc dime , 7 wheats, couple dollars in change. Ive never dug this much brass and copper in one hunt. If the price of copper and brass keeps rising, I just might quit my job. From the florida gulf coast thanks for lookinng

Wow that's a lot of digging!! Some nice finds WTG!!:clapping:

Looks like you had a good day I need a latch for my great grandmother's ice box, I checked but it doesn't match
If pull tabs was the price of silver I would have something to leave my kids
good hunting
Joe

You have an Ace 251 ??? I want one..lol..!!! Nice relics !!

Didn't you just respond to my last post by saying you wished you had more time to detect? I've never detected for 7 hours in one day as far as I recall.

Very cool collection of loot. Do you save the copper and brass? John in West Virginia used to make pretty good money doing it when copper prices were a lot lower than they are today. I've thought about it. If I had a place to keep it I probably would.

Chris it was 2 hours hours the other day and 5 today. So glad I could get out and find some stuff. I've been saving the copper and brass that I dig and its really starting to add up in the hundreds of dollars since I have started metal detecting. I really dont have the ACE 251, Its the next generation LOL . Its the basics of metal detecting for me , I just love to find stuff and my neighbors are allways amazed when I show them my finds, whatever It B. I take what it gives me and I dont complain.

Even for two days that is a lot of digging. We are just starting to get out in the north country so I am going to have to work up to that much digging. Couple of hours is about my limit after goofing off all winter.

Thanks for posting

Jerry

I dig everything too, Luke. That Mercury dime is great and a nice pile of clad and recyclables to boot. WTG.

Yeah Kid save everything. But watch the neighbors, their kids buddies, will steal alum ladders copper, lead, the brass and anything left in your shorts. Happened to one of my pals.

[size=large]now that you scrapped off the scrap layer you get to go back for the deep stuff.
