7 Hour Water Hunt Gets The Loot, But Where Were The Rings?

Had a great day for water hunting at a local lake. There were lots of targets, both good and bad. But....no rings?

You done good, John. Everyday is not going to be a ring day, but anytime you are able to get out and do a little dirt fishing is a great day.
I have a question for you and it may seem silly to the more experience members. When you are out in the water and you use a scoop to retrieve the items you find, how to fill in the holes? Just smooth it out with your feet? It's obvious to someone like you but not to me. Thanks.

I think John Edmonton has already cleaned out all the lakes lol

When I get a scoop full, I sift it over the hole and use my foot to fill it in some more. And it depends how deep the hole is too. If it's only 3-4 inches, I just sift over it.

That is very unusual for you, John. What do you think was the problem?
