7" coil

Does anyone know anything about the 7" round wide scan coil? How would it be used on a De Leon detector?

Widescans are a bit better in mineralized soil and generally get thru trash better than a concentric of the same or similar size. They tend to have an elongated narrower footprint than the concentrics which accounts for missing some of the trash and I've heard it said that they may not discriminate quite as well. I have both a 7" widescan and 7" concentric that I use on my Eldorado and SSumax. They're both good coils in my opinion.
