Hello everyone went too a area full of stone walls and some foundations and has given me coins, buttons, ect in the past well today i got a good copper high tone signal 25-27 on my Explorer XS and low and behold about 7 inches down i pulled a nice 1804 Drapped Bust Half Cent this coin has been eluding me for sometime but now i can take it off my wish list .Had a great time just getting out too do what i love saveing history thank you for looking .

The date on the pics is wrong forgot too set the camera and the pics are not the greatest the coin looks much better by eye :thumbup:

Incredible find, congratulations. We could only wish for finds like that down here in Texas.

Were you using any special setup?
 
No special set up Jerry just I'm running wide open screen (no discrimination)in ferrous tone with a vary little notched out iron that's it, up here in Maine the ground is so iron infested naturally and then man made iron junk, that most places the detector runs in null most of the time thus masking targets. Its a go too set up for areas like that :thumbup:
