7/17 Discovery 3300 After Supper Beach Hunt

Grabbed the old Discovery 3300 and headed for Virginia Beach. Weather was beautiful again. Hit the dry sand. This time I got a Golden Dollar coin and two rings. One is a junk ring, but pretty. The other is 925 Silver. Still waiting on that gold ring. It will show up eventually. Still it was a great way to spend the evening.:clapping:

Way to go!!! That is a great haul with rings too. Would love to hunt a ocean beach sometime. Keep swinging. :detecting:

i am going to Myrtle Beach in about a week and i also have a 3300. Just started to use it recently. Can it be used in the wet sand? I am really excited about trying it out, now that i know how to use it

thanks...

Stay away from the wet sand. It will give way too many false signals. Works great in the dry sand though. You can tell when you get too close to the water. The detector will go off without repeating the signal when you swing over the same spot. Good luck with your trip to Myrtle Beach.

It looks like these are the kinds of things that keep you going! I'm hoping to be half as productive as you were. And just the thought of what you found will keep me motivated. Myrtle beach here we come!

Thanks...
