6x8 SEF versus 4.5x7 Excelerator

I use the 4.5x7 Excelerator about 90% of the time on my Etrac. I think the deepest coin I've found with it is about 8 inches.

What would I gain, if anything, by getting the 6x8 SEF?

Thanks for your opinons/comments.

Phillip

Both are excellent coils but the 6x8 is quite a bit deeper, Id say about 2"... You will find coins consistently at 8" with the 6x8 . As you already know, the 4.5 x7 is fun to use being so light & its shape allowing coverage in difficult areas but does lack a bit in depth.. wildherre

Guess I have to get the 6x8 then. Who has them?
Kellyco is the US distributor. Right down the road for me!
