6x10 or 4x6 is ther really any difference.

Hi MXT users. Sorry to bug you guys on your forum with a question concerning coils on the M6 but the two are so much alike in basic power and operation I thought I'd try to get some imput from you. I use the 6x10 about 95% of the time because it give me excellent target separation in trashy areas and it give me a bigger foot print. It also allow me to run higher sens/gain and keep my M6 running smooth. I hear so much about the 4x6. My question is, am I missing the hidden potiential of the 4x6 or is the 6x10 really that good.

I use both. The 6X10 is my main coil and I use it most of the time. The 4X6 sacrifices depth and coverage, but really does a great job slipping thru and separating goodies from the trash. The 5.3 is not quite as good in the trash in my opinion, but does offer a bit better coverage and definitely more depth. Having the different choices enhances the versatility of your machine.
My two bits.,
BB
