6X10 coil & coil cover question

Anybody ever try useing a bedliner spray (non-metallic) on the bottom of their 6X10 coil & not useing a coil cover?--If so, what's the verdict?-----Also, any tips on easier coil cover removal for cleaning on this coil?-------Thanks, Del
 
On one of my other machine coils, I sprayed the bed liner stuff and it has held up well. I held the spray close and gave it quick light coats so it didn't get to textured - almost smooth. I only did the one and no problems at all.
