6th Hunt Old Fair Grounds Silver and Gold

Well-known member
Hunted a while today at the old Fair Grounds again. Really tough hunting but it paid off

1 1912 Barber Dime
1 1939 Mercury Dime
1 1920 Wheat
1 1940 Wheat
& I think this is a Gold Hat Pin of some sort

Pennies are Here they do not seem to fair very well

Silver is here and the Barber is really worn but the date is very clear

This is the Pin. The Pin rusted completely away but since the newest dates I have found in this place is the 1940s, I think this could be gold. I thought at first there was a stone in the middle but due to the engraving I don't think there was anything there.

My V3i seems to be working pretty good these days. This place is really difficult to hunt and you can not get your coil anywhere close to the ground.

Forgot about the 1935 Quarter

That's one think I like about Fairgrounds, lots of coin drops. Remember back in the days, there were lots of machine/games that took coins(even phones LOL). And way back People dressed up to go to the Fair. Great finds. AND "If you heard it once you've heard it a thousand times" no place is hunted out. Just my thoughts... HH Jack
