Don't read much info on these two detectors? Not much on the White's forum either? Anyone know how heavy the 6T is? Battery life? Ground balance on 5G? No mention of how in manual or in video? Or did I miss that info? Just thinking of a back up detector and they look like easy, fun detectors to think about. It just is so strange? Is it supposed to be some kind of secret? Only White's people are supposed to know about these guys? Only kidding guys, only kidding. Appreciate any help. Thanks and Happy Trails....Z

I believe the 6T is a bit over 3 lbs and is the better choice of the two due to auto ground tracking among other features.

If it works A1 in our mongrel mineralisation here in Oz on the goldfields then it would work just about anywhere. Loves the heavy junk.

I have a 6T on the way to me. I can give you a report in a week or so. If you go to the whites website and then to their forum there are several good write-ups on the 6T by a guy in FL. It was his praise of the 6T that had me to go ahead and get one.

Good hunting..

Thanks BB, BT, and DiggerMark for replies. Just didn't find much on the detectors. They look like light, easy, fun detector to use. Looking forward to your posts Mark. BT I read your post on the 6T. If it works in the goldfields it will work on the beaches. I do most of my hunting on the fresh water beaches. Don't care for water hunting it ain't my cup of tea. So just keep those posts coming because I am still looking for a second detector. 6T is still in the running. Thanks and Happy Trails....Z

I will have to read BT's post on the 6T in the goldfields. And I want to take it to the fresh water beaches we have around here. All in all it pretty much covers what I need for now. I am sure the step up to an MXT will be next but for now 6t will have to work for me which I think it will. Let us know what you decide Z
