It was fun getting out again, and going to the local park and trying all the things I've been reading (over the winter) on this site and Carl's V3i advanced user's guide. The ring was found in the Hi-Pro mode using the stereo mixed-mode; I had a little trouble so I keep switching back and forth to coin and jewelry. I sure I will have more questions on the probe and ground probe after I have more time to experiment.
