In 1977, the average price per gallon of regular unleaded gas was $.66 cents ...

I remember gas wars in the mid 60's that got the price of gas down to .10 a gallon.
 
I remember gas when it was around 29.9 cents a gallon, early 1960's I think. Things have never been the same since the oil embargo in 1973 or 1974 there abouts. That picture brings back lots of memories. Kelley (Texas) :)
 
Those old gas pumps definitely look nicer than the ones we see today. They make a nice lawn ordament in that coundition IMHO. As for the ops question, I have no idea... I wasn't alive back them.:lol:
