6000di pro sl question

I have a 5900 di Pro SL and have dug pennies from 8 or 9 with the 9.5" coil. The trget will only lock on the meter one way for me at that depth, but if one sweep locks on a good signal and it shows a depth over 6 I dig and have done well with that. Hope this helps.

ya, 5900 pennies 8in on land quarters 1 foot deep on beach... large cents maybe about 1 foot deep as well... all with the 9.5coil...
