Got the old 6000D out of the closet stuck the 14AA batteries in it and it fired up sort of. No sound from the speaker only thru head phones, GEB disc works, GEB works, the push button for mode changes does not, GEB max pegs the needle and it stays there. I might contact Whites and see if its economical feasible to put it back in order. When I switched to Tesoro Umax detectors around 1998 I put the 6000 away.
