6000 Pro XL with the Blue Max 600 is HOT

I managed to get out for a about an hour this afternoon and I took the 6000 Pro XL to a little park down the street. I was running the white colored Blue Max 600 coil and I was able to run signal balance at the 3:30 to 4:00 o'clock position and I was popping coins left and rignt, with dead on accuracy. The oldest coins I found were late 60's, but it was a blast.

I am very pleased with the Target separation and target id, of this detector, I have not had a chance to use the 800 coil or the 9.5, but right now I am getting excellent depth with the 600, so I might leave it on.

i gotta agree.... i got a 5.3 inch coil for my 5900 last spring... its excellent for working trashy areas in the park..found 2 gold rings in parks and several gold pieces at fresh water swimming area...i find it works best when discrim is set just high enough to ignore nails .... youll love it...

I used them all the time (90%-95% of the time) on my IDX Pro or XL Pro or XLT's. Terrific depth, picks good stuff in the trash, and with the higher Signal Balance/Pre-Amp Gain settings it lets the XLT and XL Pro work much slower to compliment the depth.
