6000 di pro

just lookin

New member
I would like to hip mount my 6000 di pro sl, I have seen on another forum, where someone did that, but wasn't any pics. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Or does Mr. Bill do that? Who is Mr. Bill?

Maybe I should explain a little better, I have a nice 6000 DI Pro Sl, and I like it alot, but I have back problems and it is to heavy to use, I went to whites web site and I know that they sell a kit, I would like to see what it looks like done, I don't think a person needs to by the kit, because I want to mount the box on my hip, and leave the meter and hand grip on the rod with the coil. all help will be apprecated. Thanks Greg

I had the same machine. I mounted to small brackets on the top screws on the side of the box and put a sling on it. I hung the box, upper rod and meter on my hip.. then used an Upper Rod and a straight center rod I had laying around. to swing the coil.
Worked perfect... as long as the coil cable is long enough. You can buy extentions if it isn't
I could see the meter and run the trigger with my left hand and swing the coil with my right hand. Pretty easy.
Good luck
