I was proud of my V3i. I got a Zinc penny at a measured 6" with a 4 X6 shooter coil. I also worked with my new TRX on high #4 setting and I liked it a little better. I used it like a detector back and forth and it seemed to help find my targets quicker. I have a Pistol Probe coming to compare the two. Only thing irritating is holding the button on the TRX to turn it on and off.
