Started out heading for a lake, but skies turned dark and rain started pounding, so I turned around and headed back home. I stopped in a little town, and noticed a main street had some road and sidewalk construction, so I thought I would take a chance and see if there were any goodies there. Well, I was surprised to pull out 24 coins, six of them silver. What a surprise. This was one of those windows of opportunity. Another couple of days, and all would have been buried again. I also got a sterling silver (stamped) medallion, from 1937 with the letters "VJHC" on it. I'll need to research that a little further.
Well, the dark clouds lightened up, so I made my second attempt to the lake.

Well, when I got to the lake, it was calm, no rain and even a hint of sunshine. I quickly put on my wet suit and started searching. I managed to get lots of clad, and that darn ring water curse came to an end, as I found two silver rings.

Here is a close-up of the rings as found, and the cleaned up ones with a little Dremmel polishing with some jewellers rouge.
