$6 used metal detector

Mark!!!!! You're alive. I thought we lost you.

That story is about a year old. Did you notice the coil looked to be about 2 inches wide? Another guy found 4 gold torques (not sure on spelling) his FIRST day hunting. 7 steps from where he parked the car!!!!!!! They were worth over a million as well.

Then there was a lady that found a 500 year old gold crucifix. Great Britain has alot of stories like this, but they have alot of history too.

How have you been? Harvested any wheat yet? I've been looking for a post from you for awhile, I hope I didn't miss it.

Take care, Dave

Yes, yes, I am still alive. I am working out of town on a project and had to stop work early today. I had my Elite 2200 with me and went to the cop shop and asked which park was the oldest. I was told that the oldest was a former state park that had been turned over to the city. I went there and within 10 min found my first Kennedy half dollar. Since MDing in state parks requires a permit and restrictions on digging tools, I don't believe anyone has seriously searched this park. It is about 20 acres and I want to go back this summer and give it hell.
