6 inch smart coil

No video but after getting my 6" coil ad re-hunting a very trashy demolition site the second coin signal I got was a very nice Mercury dime. Since then my hunting partner and I; both with our CTX(s) with 6" coils pulled 27 silver coins and over 100 wheat pennies from just one site over a three day period. This coil is HOT!

Here is the photo I took with my cell phone when I found the Mercury.
 
I want one !!! I hunted a park today and was very frustrated by the junk signals, this would come in handy, yes?
 
Works great in trashy environments. Not much loss in depth, 1 or 2 inches sounds about right. The difference is being able to place the coil over a very small area and getting a more stable target. The big coil requires you (or at least me) to go very very slow as it reads more information on surrounding targets. I will deal with any loss of depth in order to gain better target to trash separation.

I don't follow you. I see no mention of "any quality" issue on the link you provided. Please explain if you can. My CTX and the 6" coil work great. My hunting partner, who also has a CTX did have an issue with his larger coil, but our local dealer swapped it out and sent the coil back to Minelab. A week or so later a brand new coil arrived. No issues, no problems.
 
I may be wrong but I thought that he was saying that the quality of the video on the Minelab site was not that great.

sir digs, if your still interested in the 6 inch coil, call columbia metal detectors in escondido, california. The number is 760-743-8516 and ask for Frank. He said he had 3 of them . Good luck
 
Yup you better get one FAST. My dealer ordered some and had them sold (we were at his shop when the delivery arrived) before he placed the order. In fact he did not get one himself; trying to keep up with demand. They are in high demand!

I'm not even able to find the CTX coils on your website let alone the elf. Guess I'll keep hunting......

Hence the 'new website' part, our apologies as we're working as quickly as we can to populate the new site since the old one was so absolutely discombobulated. The 6" CTX coil is on there as of this morning sans image, we'll get all those in later today. The 17" (to answer Matt, we do have those in stock too and thanks for asking) + all other accessories will be up shortly. Call us anytime with questions 865-789-8990, that's what we're here for. Hang in there with us on the new site and keep looking for that elf, she's a tricky little thing but right now we've got her pinned in one place - she might move tomorrow...
