Hit the machine gun pit again armed with the 6 inch coil.Had to really pound it today no hunting next weekend fair starts this week put in 9 hours today need a break.Only one coin at 7 inches deep rest were at 4 to 6 inches 1902s barber dime 7 inches Mercs 1919 1929 1923 1936 2 v nickels 1909 1897 2 buffs 1916 1926 1 war nickel 1943 1 Indian 1884 7 wheat's from 1916 to 1944 1 little gold plated bible 1 big silver ring 1 gold plated heavy chain Some of the nickels came in at 12.09 to 12.15 with very jumpy #s they were 4 to 5 inches deep i looked at them one v nickel 1909 was in really nice shape but looks like it has rust pits on it this maybe why they were jumpy.One dime i found 3 inches away from a rotten can i dug it with the tip of my coil was giving 12.43 for a signal when i tried to center it the ctx wood overload i though i was getting the can signal but i check around the can and wouldn't get a signal if i stay 3 inches away dug out a 1929 merc at 5 inches dug the can out and it was 4 inches deep 1 would have missed this coin if i would have hit it any different way because it would of overloaded the coil.One dime came in at 4 inches at 12.35 it was actually inside the pull tab ring which drew the #s down .Well post pics somtime this week
