Hello all ! I just got notified by Kelly Co. that my 6" EQ2 Pro EXcelerator coil for my E-Trac is on 'backorder" - dang. They indicated that they should be receiving a shipment soon. I hope it's not just a line. Was wondering if any of you know of a place to get one without waiting in line? Also, if anyone has one they would like to part with and sell I would be interested.
you will be glad to get it,it is a great little oil.i use it more that the stock coil.one thing I found is that the fe mosty but co numbers change from the stock coil. One thing I can say about Kellyco is if it is in stock they will get it out to you as soon as possible.I live in Tn and order wed.morin and got friday afternoon.Good lucky and hope to hear some good post from you shortly.
I have been waiting for the 6" eq2 since may 18th from kellyco still on back order, and don't when they will be in. I just called to check on it they have the 6x8 sef in stock right now so I cancelled the 6" and ordered the 6x8 I here it is a great coil as well, in case you don't want to wait.

I've never used the 6X8 coil, so I cannot compare it to the Eq2, but you'll find tons of posts from folks who love them. Gives you a little bigger footprint and if the separation is close to the Eq2, that may be the way to go if you do not want to wait.
If you want some info on the 6X8 go to the Minelab Explorer Forum and read the field test that Bryce did on the 6x8. He stated that he felt that the separation ability of the 6x8 was equal to if not better then the Eq2.
I ordered my 6" EQ2 directly from Bulgaria. That's where they come from anyway! I ordered mine on May 26th and according to post office tracking it is already in Canada and I should get it by friday.
I have the EQ2 but if you really want a small coil just get the 5" Sunray, I had one of those years ago when I had my EXII and its just as good as the EQ2 if not better. You can't go wrong with the Sunray coils, they are made very good!
