6" EQ2 Coil is great:super:

UPS just brought the EQ2 today about 4:30pm and I decided I could get in a short hunt.
So in less than an hour I plucked out 4 silver dimes and 2 wheats in an area I have hammered.
Even with the stock coil. SO a big thumbs up, I HIGHLY recommend this little jewel.

The deepest silver was probably 8". The EQ2 Is a 6" Excellerator search coil carried by Kellyco and maybe by other dealers I'm not sure.

It is a DD coil that is 6 inches in diameter. It uses the same coil design of the 11 inch DD coil in a smaller package although it is not a see through design but a solid case.

I have the Excellerator coil and I can say it is a great coil for hunting in very trashy areas. Not quite as deep as the standard 11 inch DD coil, but for what it loses in depth it makes up for in separation. It will out perform a standard 11 inch DD coil in high trash areas.

I have found that it can really cherry pick the good targets from the trash without causing the E-Trac to null out on the trash. From what I have read, it really does make the good targets sing out from lots of junk in the ground because it concentrates the signal into a smaller area and allows the machine to focus on the smaller area instead of hitting the larger area of a larger coil which may overload the E-Trac with info on items that may be nulled out due to them being trash.

I am really impressed with the smaller coil on the E- Trac and for $100 from Kellyco, I would say it is quite a bargain.
