6" DD Coil, X-Terra 705 on the Beach

Took my new 6" DD HF coil down to the beach yesterday, nice low tide, set it up and had the unit going crazy again, lots of interference, I need to make a little check list when I go through the setup, I finally figured out I need to turn the sensitivity down from 25 to 10 and it worked excellent, a minor adjustment, pays to double check which I will do next time. I filled a Starbucks large coffee cup up with trash, I dig every signal at the beach, towards the end of my 4 hour hunt, I found 2 silver rings, one small one with diamond chips and a nice larger woman's with a peridot stone ( Yellow Green) in it, awesome, I was crazed at that point and was going too fast and was sloppy but I had 2 rings. With this coil I found nickles at 5" easy in damp sand, I found that it was very sensitive so now I want to take it to the desert to look for nuggets, it is sensitive enough to find the small stuff and probably some larger stuff as well. Now to find someone to go with and I will report back my findings.
