6" coil for CTX

I am thinking of getting a smaller coil dose the 6" get good depth or should I wait to see if minelab comes out with A 8" I do hunt some spots with A lot of trash thanks for any advice you can give
 
Today i dug a clad quarter out of the woodchips in a tot lot right around 10 inches and it screamed. Plus i was able to lift the coil off the ground about an inch or so before it would lose it.gotta love the 6" coil. =)
 
Ditto above.
The sixer will pick through heavy trash like a laser. I've nailed a bunch of silver with it in areas I've hit with the std coil on the CTX and virtually every coil made for the Etrac.
The greatest adjustment you'll have is getting used to swinging a little coil!
