6 bags of trash - How does one teach responsibility - or is it too late?

We are to have an open house tdoay. Sherry spent a couple hours in one room - took 6 bags to get the trash out - and this is the bedroom of a 14 year old. I don't understand. Maybe I never will. If things don't change I pity the poor slob that marries this person.

I ran across only one other person who was THAT bad and she was wheel chair bound - but even at that - she would try to vacuum the house. Guess this 14 year old know it all figures we have a maid at a beck and call.

Any suggestions? Sealing the door after the room is cleaned is one way to assure it stays clean for an open house. Raised a couple of boys in my time and they never made the mess this one girl has made - and - its not the first time.

Pray for either Casey to get her act together or patience of the saints for me to 'put up' with this til she moves out on her own. Surprised we don't have cockroaches, ants and mice in her room.

clothes all over the floor and never in her closet! Some grow out of it and some never do! Mine hasn't but does clean once in a while and also cleans homes to make a living.....go figure!!!!

Don't be too hard on her because too soon she'll be grown and probably out on her own! Just keep praying for her and give her guidance when you can and when she does listen!

FIRST OF ALL I BELIEVE THAT DUE TO THE GROWTH HARMON'S THE ANIMALS WE EAT ARE GIVEN, CAUSES OUR CHILDREN TO MATURE AT AN EARLIER AGE. THEIR MINDS CAN'T CATCH UP UNTIL THEY ARE IN THEIR 20'S.(EXAMPLE)FEMALES NOW BECOME YOUNG LADIES AT AGE 10-11yrs OLD, IN MY EARLY DAYS THAT HAPPENED AT AGE 17-19YRS OLD. CASEY IS IN HER MIXED UP TEENS, SHE IS ALONE AT HOME,AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF GROWING UP WITHOUT A FEMALE MODEL TO USE AS AN EXAMPLE. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, SHE IS WATCHING YOU LIKE A HAWK, AND IS COMPARING EVERY BOY SHE KNOWS WITH YOU. WITH BOYS IT'S HIS NEW WIFE WHO CAN'T COOK LIKE MAMA.RIGHT NOW I HAVE A 14yr OLD.GRAND DAUGHTER DOING THE SAME THING. ALMOST ALL OF HER PULL OVER SWEATERS HAS SENTENCE'S ON THEM THAT COULD BE TAKEN AS AN INVITATION TO HAVE SEX WITH HER. ALL SHE WANTS IS A LITTLE ATTENTION IN A WAY SHE CAN BE SATISFIED WITH. I BECAME A DIRTY OLD MAN A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO BECAUSE I TOLD HER I DIDN'T NEED TO SEE THE CRACK IN HER BEHIND OR HOW HIGH HER PUBIC HAIR WAS GROWING, SHE NEEDED TO CHANGE CLOTHES AND LOOK LIKE A YOUNG LADY.IT DIDN'T HELP WHEN I EXPLAINED THAT IN A POOR COMMUNITY THERE IS 3 WAYS THE PEOPLE ENTERTAIN THEM SELVES, (1)RELIGION, (2)ALCOHOL-DRUGS, &(3)SEX.
IF YOU CAN: GO TO HER SCHOOL & HAVE A TALK WITH HER COUNSELOR.YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET SOME HELP THERE. CHRIS & I WILL BE PRAYING FOR CASEY, & YOU ... HENRY
